As a part time Customer Success Associate, you’ll be a critical member of that effort, serving on the front lines of our student-facing support team. You will report to our Chief Revenue Officer while working alongside our current Customer Success Associate and Business Operations Manager. You’ll be tasked with making sure every student receives best-in-class service in a friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable way. You’ll also help lay the groundwork for a strong company and customer success culture. You’ll have a direct impact on building a very large and meaningful business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Engage in daily work and communications with students seeking education funding through Stride 

  • Respond to inbound student phone calls, and emails regarding current applications and general Stride ISA queries from prospective customers 

  • Review and process student applications (identity / transcript review and student outreach for application clarification and additional supporting documentation) 

  • Manage outbound pull-through phone queues in operating system 

  • Document every correspondence with students in company CRM (HubSpot) 

  • Onboard and welcome approved students to Stride community 

  • Collaborate with other Stride Squad members to help ensure students get accurate pricing and terms 

  • Daily review of leads from various partner sources, each of which may have unique processes, to convert them to Stride Community members 

  • Interact with schools to certify funding and assist in the disbursement process 

  • Take ownership of student experience and suggest changes to processes and communications to support an improved customer journey

Qualifications 

  • Friendly, outgoing, customer approach. Ability to easily connect with current students and recent graduates (Stride’s core customers) 

  • Dedicated to working up to 20 hours a week to manage all customer relationships and build a tight-knit Stride community 

  • Part time schedule falls within standard business hours of 8:00 am CT to 6:00 pm CT Monday through Friday

  • Start date flexible to applicant needs

  • Ideally based in Dallas 

  • Customer-centric focus – due to seasonality of student lending, there may be limited time-off during peak volume periods (e.g., summer and winter) 

  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Self-motivated, ability to multitask, resourceful, productive on teams as well as independent work 

  • Comfortable with adapting to change, switching between projects / duties quickly and efficiently
